Interactive locator partner map enhances regional communication

Charlotte,NC – The winners of the 2016 Davey Awards have been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts today and the Centralina Workforce Development Board (CWDB) was among the winners among the nearly 4,000 entries submitted globally.

The CWDB won the Davey for its interactive partner map housed on its recently revamped website. The CWDB invests in workforce development by partnering with economic development,education and businesses to create innovative strategies to serve career seekers and businesses.

CWDB Executive Director David Hollars said,"Because we coordinate services across hundreds of organizations in the region to create a strong network of employment and training solutions,it was important to create an online tool where businesses and career seekers can find our career centers or partner locations; the interactive map was designed to make location finding an easy task for our customers".

The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA),a 700+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current membership represents a "Who"s Who" of acclaimed media,advertising,and marketing firms including: Condé Nast,Disney,GE,Microsoft,Monster.com,MTV,Yahoo!,and many others.
