Centralina WDB Adult Customer Receives Full-Time Employment After Training Opportunity!

In Feburary 2015 adult customer,Sandra Halliburton came to the NCWorks Career Center-Union seeking additional WIOA training and funding to complete the Associates Degree Medical Office Administration Program at South Piedmont Community College (SPCC),as she had met the $8,000 benefit max. Halliburton initially enrolled in the program on October 30,2013 and began training on January 9,2014. "

Halliburton has been diligent with her studies; consistently followed up with the assigned Talent Development Consultant at the NCWorks Career Center-Union for the past two in a half years; "and maintained a GPA of 3.857. "Halliburton completed her last semester and obtained her Medical Office Administration Associates Degree in May 2015. After working with Halliburton on skills analysis,resume revision,and interview strategies she was selected for three interviews with Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS)."

Halliburton obtained full-time employment (with benefits) in her field of study with (CHS),effective February 29,2016,as a Credentialing Coordinator at a pay rate of $20.10 an hour!""
