NC Manufacturing Institute Ready to Help Career Seekers of All Ages Start New Careers

The"Centralina Workforce Development Board"is a proud partner of the"North Carolina Manufacturing Institute (NCMI)." Over the last couple of months NCMI has held dozens of classes giving opportunities to residents in the Rowan,Cabarrus,and Iredell counties the chance to take the eight-week course." Immediately at the end of the course the students are given a Certified Production Technician (CPT) certificate." The day after their graduation students are then able to participate in a reverse interview with a host of the institute"s employer companies." To date,the NCMI has 40 employer partners who has signed and agreed to hire students out of the program.""

With 40 companies within the institute,NCMI is seeking more candidates who are interested in taking the eight-week course to increase the workforce pool at each of the 40 companies.
