Centralina WDB was named Cabarrus EDC's 2016 Supporter of the Year!

The Centralina WDB was named Cabarrus Economic Development Commission"s 2016 Supporter of the Year during Celebrate Cabarrus Annual Awards Gala on Friday,May 6,2016.

The Centralina WDB was honored for the work completed with 3M. "When 3M planned to closed their doors,the Centralina WDB team brought hope for reemployment. "Under the direction of David Hollars and team,NCWorks opened "a new location that welcomes those in transition,supported manufacturing job fairs and connected a skilled workforce with job openings. "The Centralina WDB was also honored for supporting the North Carolina Manufacturing Institute (NCMI),which has been a great program for the unemployed,underemployed,and employers. "Centralina WDB was also honored for the EduFactor grant as well.

Overall,the Centralina WDB has made tremendous impact on the Cabarrus County community. "The Board is pleased with the incredible honor! " "
