BRLC Helps the Employed, Unemployed and Under-Employed

Anson County NCWorks Career Center leader Monica Gamlin recently provided training for Burnsville Recreation & Learning Center volunteers. The volunteers who attended the session were trained to provided information and instructions to assist individuals desiring employment throughout North Carolina. The training consisted of the NCWorks registration process, how to complete job searches and how to upload resumes. The trained BRLC volunteers will assist neighbors as they search for employment on the NCWorks.gov website. BRLC is open daily, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. BRLC staff will assist you on the days of operation, which are Monday through Thursday. Faxing, copying, reading and limited computer use for a small fee is now available.
